in:genius by NASCANS is the community-based student care brand under NASCANS, Singapore’s leading operator of student care centres in MOE Primary Schools. At in:genius, we are committed to nurturing young minds and unlocking the genius within. Job Responsibility

  • Teaching and conducting all in-house programmes
  • Providing academic support to P1 - P6 students in completion of homework.
  • Ensuring safety and timely transfer of children from school to student centre.
  • Creating a safe and positive learning environment, embodying a growth mindset to guide and nurture students
  • Building rapport with students and updating parents on their child’s academic and personal progress
  • Monitoring student’s health and safety
  • Any other duties as assigned required by the Centre Manager


Requirements

  • Minimally Diploma holder, preferably in the related fields of Education, Arts, Psychology, Social Sciences or Communications
  • Familiarity with the current school syllabus and experience in student care is an added advantage
  • Possess Diploma in Care and Programme or WSQ in SCC will be an advantage
  • At least 1 year teaching experience in a school or learning centre
  • Able to guide primary school subjects
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills to effectively engage all stakeholders

  • Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning etc)
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, food and beverages safety & hygiene guidelines.
  • To adhere to requirements mandated by the necessary departments
  • Any other duties as assigned / required by the Centre Manager.

    Requirements

    • Food hygiene certificate (preferred)
    • Demonstrate excellent standards of hygiene at all times
    • Team player and possess patience with children
    • Organised and able to multi-task
    • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
    • Experiences in similar job nature is an advantage

Job Description

  • Preparation of student’s meals (breakfast, lunch and/or tea break)
  • Maintain and ensure cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen/pantry area
  • Washing bowls, cups, cutlery, utensils, food containers
  • Wiping and cleaning counter tops, tabletops, chairs, replenish drinking water
  • Any other duties as assigned / required by the Centre Manager.
